Lance Cure

Lance has been working at Finance Brokers Tasmania since its inception in 1986... which makes total sense because he started the business all those years ago!

His career started way before that, commencing in 1975, working in both the banking and financial industry. Lance has gained valuable experience in the finance broking industry and enjoys working with each client on their individual needs.

Lance has been assisting people in funding their great Australian dream since the beginning. Through his experience, he has gained valuable relationships with many lenders, in some cases enabling quicker transactions.

Complementary to his personal lending experience, Lance has in-depth knowledge of complex commercial deals, including buying and selling businesses, commercial real estate acquisition, self-managed super funds and complex plant and equipment finance with cash flow and tax-effective structures.

Known never to sit still, Lance constantly stays up to date with all grants and government incentives, ensuring that you get the best value for your loan.

It seems we all love Lance. In 2023, he was inducted into the Vow Financial Hall of Fame which was a great honor for both Lance and Finance Brokers Tasmania.

There have been many changes in all his years in the industry, but one thing has remained the same - his passion for his work (oh, and his impeccable sense of humour).

Lance sits on the board and is involved with many other businesses, not for profit organisations and local community clubs and groups. When not in the office, you'll find Lance supporting local football and cricket teams, barracking for the Hawks, cycling, spending time with his kids and grandkids, playing the occasional game of golf and travelling (when his schedule allows it!).
